10:30 am - Tour of the Marian Library with Br. William Fackovic, S.M.,
The University of Dayton (The largest collection on Mary, mother of
Jesus, in the world.  Tour of the art gallery exhibition: "Icons of
Mary" by Christine Granger of Low, Quebec.

12:00 noon - Buffet Lunch, Barrett Dining Room, UD

1:15 pm - Business Meetings: ARLIS/Ohio Valley followed by VRA Great
 Lakes Chapter

3:45 pm - Tour of the Dayton Art Institute Library, featuring a special display
 of some of their special collections.

4:45 pm - Tour of the Special Exhibition: "A Renaissance Treasury: The Flagg
 Collection of European Decorative Arts and Sculpture" and of the
permanent collections which were recently reinstalled after a major
the renovated and addition of new galleries. - The Dayton Art
Institute

5:30 pm - closing - complimentary tickets to "Just Jazz" an evening of light
food and live jazz - The Dayton Art Institute


FRIDAY, AUGUST 7, 1998
9:00 am - Continental Breakfast and Program, The United States Air Force
 Museum
"Nose Art and Military Aircraft" presented by Education Division Chief Judith
Wehn
Slide program tracing the history of nose art followed by tour of the collection
 the world's oldest and largest museum of military aviation.

11:00 am - 12:50  -- Lunch on your own at the museum and time to explore the
collections, bookstore, shops, or take in an IMAX film.

1:00 p.m.  Departure for LC program

1:30 - 3:00 pm  -- guided tour of the Library of Congress Motion Picture
Conservation Center
NOTE: Attendance to the LC facilities is limited and will be taken on a first-co
first-serve basis.  Confirmations will be sent and a waiting list
will be maintained in case of cancellations.

OPTIONAL: Those unable to tour the Library of Congress Motion Picture
 Conservation Center may want to attend the Behind the Scenes Tour of
the United States Air Force Museum's exhibits and restoration areas
which is offered on Fridays at 12:15-2:45.  Advance bookings are
available by calling 937-255-3286 ext 302 or 303.
