----------------------------Original message---------------------------- I just spoke with a faculty member who is looking to dispose of approximately 36 linear feet of arch. periodicals. They consist of runs prior to the last 15 years of such as Architecture, Architectural Record, Architectural Forum, & Progressive Architecture. We have all these - many in duplicate. Normally I'd accept duplicates, triplicates of more recent issues & then sell to students, but I've found they're not interested in older ones. Plus I have no way to pick these up quickly. I suggested he try commercial outlets. He's tried a few, but no interest. What do you all suggest to such donors? Is there an outlet in the NYC area I'm unaware of? Do any of you close by want these? You'll probably have to arrange for pickup. Would appreciate any replys sent to me, & I'll forward them to him Thanks for any fresh input.
