I have had several queries about this subject, so it seems a general

To suspend your ARLIS-L mail while you are on vacation, send a message to
<a href="/scripts/wa.exe?LOGON=A3%3Dind9806%26L%3DARLIS-L%26E%3D7BIT%26P%3D250137%26B%3D--%26T%3Dtext%252FplainTEXT%252FPLAIN%3B%2520charset%3DUS-ASCII%26pending%3D" target="_parent" >[log in to unmask]</a> with the message:
set arlis-l nomail
If your e-mail address has changed for any reason (sometimes behind the
scenes) you may receive a message telling you that you are not subscribed
to the list.  To check your address on the list you can send a message to
the same address as above with the message:
review arlis-l
If the address that is listed is not your most current address, the best
thing to do is to send ME mail asking to unsubscribe you.  When you are
ready to receive mail again, you can resubscribe by sending the following
mail to that same address:
subscribe arlis-l [Your Name]
You will then be subscribed at the correct address.
