----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Our Debt of Gratitude to Ed Teague, Web Site Manager Extraordinaire I take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank Ed Teague for his outstanding contribution as the ARLIS/NA Web Site Manager, 1996 - 1998. The Web Site Manager position description is written with a tenure of two years. As you are all aware, Ed tendered his resignation as of May 1st. Lee Sorensen, ARLIS/NA South Regional Representative, is acting as temporary Web Site Manager. Ed has worked closely with Lee to ensure the seamless transition of the Web Site administration. The ARLIS/NA Web Site grew out of and flourished in Ed Teague's imagination, dedication, enthusiasm, and creative and technological expertise. From its quiet beginning, the Web Site has evolved into an invaluable asset for the Society. It is our window to the world, our administrative work-horse housing the authoritative version of all ARLIS/NA documents and policies, our link within the Society and without, it is a true public service providing important information regarding the Society and its work, activities, and services. It is practically impossible to think of ARLIS/NA without the Web Site now. It is with this sense of gratitude that the ARLIS/NA Executive Board recognizes and thanks Ed Teague for his exemplary service to the Society. We would not be the same without you and your marvelous contribution, Ed.
