Temporary Full-Time (Non-tenure track) Appointment
Art Library, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ

Art Librarian

A temporary full-time position from August 1, 1998 through December 31, 1998,
serving under the direction of the Head of the Art Library. Will be responsible
for instruction and reference including patron access to in-house and global
electronic resources. Maintenance of the library homepage. Other duties and
responsibilities as appropriate.

Qualifications: An ALA accredited MLS degree, MA in art history, and
technological expertise as it relates to libraries is required.

Salary: Dependent upon experience and qualifications, with a minimum of $32,840
prorated for the term of the appointment.

Library Profile: Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, has three major
campuses located in Camden, Newark, and New Brunswick, The New Brunswick
Libraries comprise four major libraries and numerous branch libraries
supporting instruction and research in the arts and humanities, social sciences
and business, and science and technology. The Art Library, located on the
College Avenue Campus in New Brunswick, is the art research library for Rutgers
University and houses over 70,000 non-circulating items.
