A Humanities faculty member is trying to identify something she saw on
PBS a few years ago. She thinks it might have been an art program about
orientalism and/or Asian imagery in late nineteenth century Western art.
The part she remembers most vividly, and the reason she wants it, was a
comparison of the opera Madame Butterfly with the contemporary play M.
Butterfly. Does this ring any bells with anyone? Just identifying it
would be great, and if anyone knows if a video is available for purchase
that would be even better. Thanks--
