 RLG is pleased to announce two new contributors to SCIPIO, the Grolier
 Club of New York and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The Grolier Club will
 be contributing some 2000 records for 19th-century French book auction
 catalogs, thanks to a grant from the Florence Gould Foundation.  The
 Grolier is planning to add in the future some 50,000 records for European
 and American book dealer and book auction catalogs.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art will begin to contribute its records of art
auction sales catalogs from European and North American houses to SCIPIO
during the  spring of 1998.  The initial project will include RECON of
pre-1850 materials in the collection, dating from 1756.   The PMA plans to
contribute records of current sale catalogs beginning in September 1998.
