Alberto Meza (305-237-2656, work; 305-387-3148, home; 305-237-2871, fax) is currently Professor of Art at Miami- Dade Community College, Miami, Florida. He was born in Santiago, Chile, and hold a BA from the University of Chile, an MA from Syracuse University, and an MFA from Northern Illinois University. He is the author and illustrator of four books of poetry, and was the 1967 Mayfield Library Award recipient at Syracuse University. An avid printmaker, Mr. Meza has had nine one-person exhibitions, and has won awards at the International Cabo Frio Print Biennal, Cabo Frio, Brazil, and the Maximo Ramos Print Biennal, Ferrol/ Galicia, Spain.
