----------------------------Original message----------------------------
ear Members of ARLIS/NY:

I am re-posting the invitation to a special viewing of an
exhibit and lecture at The Rotunda Gallery in Brooklyn Heights on
March 3rd, 3 p.m. "Reading Between the Lines," is an exhibition
of artists' books selected from The Rotunda Gallery's
Artists' Slide Registry of Brooklyn-affiliated artists.
Susan Share, book artist, conservator, teacher and performance artist,
will present a talk about her work. Janet Riker, Director of The
Rotunda Gallery and co-curator of the exhibit with Meridith McNeal,
will walk us through the show.

The Rotunda Gallery is located in "downtown" Brooklyn Heights, easily
accessible from the 2,3,4,5,M,N and R trains. Get off any of these lines
at Borough Hall. Walk West on Remsen or Montague Street and turn right
onto Clinton. Come early and take in the Farmers' Market at Borough Hall
plaza. After the event, plan to visit nearby Montague shopping
area, take a walk to the "Promenade" at the end of Montague Street for a
marvelous view of Manhattan, and do not miss Atlantic Avenue with its
Middle Eastern shops and numerous restaurants. For those wishing to
drive, call me for parking options.

Reservations are necessary, for space is limited. Please e-mail/phone
