The Space Planners Round Table Business Meeting is scheduled for
Monday, March 9, 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Some agenda items for the meeting
include: selection of co-ordinator (I'm happy to remain for 1998), SPRT
listserv, review of 1997 activities, activities for 1998, possible program
proposals for the 1999 conference, ARLIS/NA Strategic Plan, and issues
for the ARLIS/NA Executive Board. Please submit any other agenda
items by March 4, 1998 via email or phone. Contact information is listed
below.
When considering projects for 1998 and beyond, please review the
following ARLIS/NA Strategic Plan action items relevant to the Space
Planners Round Table.
#55. Create annotated bibliography on space planning
(including Visual Resource facilities) ((add to the base bibliography
provided in Facility Standards)); provide on web site and print copies on
demand; Create guidelines for annual updates; include consultants
directory of librarians with experience/expertise in architectural
programming, space planning, and project supervision [Space Planners
Round Table, Architecture S] [2.A.6]
#56 Compile list with descriptive annotations of art libraries and
visual resources facilities under construction or renovation; provide on
web site and in Update; create guidelines for annual updates [Space
Planners RT, Architecture S.] [2.A.7]
