Any members of the Academic Libraries Division with agenda items for our
business meeting at the Philadelphia conference, please e-mail them to me.
I will post our agenda on ARLIS-L prior to the conference if I receive any
responses.
Another plea, please contact me if you are interested in serving as the
new in-coming moderator for the division. It does not require much work,
it will provide you with an opportunity to dialogue with the new moderator
and it would be an excellent opportunity for anyone who will soon undergo
the tenure process or post-tenure review.
I am looking forward to hearing from my colleagues in academia -- I have
had nothing but silence all year to requests for Update articles
representing our division (until VERY recently), have not yet had any
responses to a request for volunteers to represent our division on the
ARLIS Statistics Task Force, and have not yet heard of anyone interested
in being nominated (or suggestions of people to nominate) for the incoming
moderator. The conference will be here soon! It's your division --
