Dear ARLIS/NA colleagues:

If you would like a print visit to our new Rhys Carpenter Library
for Art, Archaeology, and Cities, take a look at the February 1998 issue of
Architectural Record, pages 82-91, article by Karen Stein. It has some
elegant photographs which convey very well certain aspects of the library.

For those of you who might be interested in seeing the library in
person during the forthcoming ARLIS/NA conference in Philadelphia, you are
welcome to come out to Bryn Mawr (via suburban train it is only 25 minutes
from Center City). I will not be able to show you around myself,
obviously, since I will be working at the conference, but our library
assistant, Marshall Johnston, will be happy to do so. Call him at (610)
526-7912 and make an appointment, or just come out between 8 a.m. and 4
p.m., his work hours.

We're looking forward to seeing you in Philadelphia very soon.

                                        Eileen Markson
