Since the Canadian postal strike is not over yet,
the ARLIS/NA leadership has again extended the
deadline for Canadian election ballots.
ARLIS/NA Nominating Committee Chair
Jeff Horrell has agreed to accept Canadian
postcard Executive Board election ballots received
through December 17, postmark notwithstanding.
(He will not be accepting fax ballots.)

The strike also affects Canadian members'
registration for the Philadelphia annual conference,
workshops, and tours, as well as membership renewals.
ARLIS/NA HQ can and will accept faxed registrations
and renewals paid by credit card, so
that forms are received in a timely fashion.

If you know of an ARLIS/NA member in Canada
who is not a subscriber of ARLIS-L or CARLIS-L,
we would appreciate your passing this
information onto him or her.
