If I recall correctly, I finally located it in the National Gallery--it wasn't in any of the usual suspects such as indexes. If you look a the NGA home page at www.nga.gov and search for De Chirico you'll find the record for the painting and a bibliography which refers to reproductions. Also, several webdatabases have come up with nothing. ...I surrender! Does anyone have a catalogue raisonee or the "L'opera completa di Giorgio de Chirico" (Milan, 1982) and would be willing to check for this painting??
