To:      @Metro (v.1, no. 1, September/October 1997)

The agency which publishes the Newsletter is officially known as the New
York Metropolitan Reference and Research Library Agency, informally as
the Metropolitan New York Library Council, and called for short METRO.
@Metro issues have "Metropolitan New York Library Council" (the informal
name) used throughout the publication, with no reference to the official
name of the organization.
