----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Colleagues: The Joint Committee for the Interior Design Archives of the Foundations of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is currently assessing the feasibility of establishing an archives of interior design. The Committee has contracted with the consultants Kenamore & Klinkow to help with this assessment. As part of the study, the scope, content and accessibility of interior design records housed in existing archival repositories of all sorts in the US and abroad are being examined. As you answer the questions, note that interior design records may take several forms - programs, project notes, contracts, photographs, slides, videos, 3-d models/objects, as well as design drawings and boards.
