Dear Ms. Dyki,
Hopefully, the professors in the art department should have statements of
their teaching philosophies on file.  You could check with the department
secretary.  If your school offers a "business of art" class, you might want
to check with the professor and see if she/he would have available copies
of statements.  In addition, check with the Art Ed. department if there is
one at your school.  If you have the chance to interact with graduates, as
it sounds you do, you may ask if they would be so kind as to give you a
copy of their statements after they are completed and keep a file or binder
available for other students.  It might be useful to have a binder of
artists' statements as well.
