On behalf of a researcher, I am trying find any information about
a work, possibly entitled "Moloch" (or that may be the subject)
by an artist named Kaulbach, that would date before 1871. The
reference is from an unpublished letter. There are some half
dozen Kaulbach's, a whole family, in Thieme-Becker, so it is
impossible to guess which one could have been the artist. The
work is presumably a painting, possibly a fresco.
Any advice, leads, would be appreciated.
