WORKING METHODS: Thirteenth Annual Conference of CHArt
Computers and the History of Art
5-6 September 1997, University of Northumbria, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK

This two day conference takes as its theme the ways in which
information technology is changing the way we work, as historians of
art and design,  as information managers, or as curators and
conservators.

Peter Walsh (Wellesley College, USA): New Technology and the Ownership
of Images

Kelly Bousman (USA): Intertextual referencing in the visual arts

Brian Larkman (Teesside University): Non immersive Virtual Reality
Technologies and art rich landscapes


Newcastle upon Tyne is easily reached by road or train (train
journey time from London is appoximately 3 hours).
Delegates wishing to stay in the City will be accommodated in student
residences on the City Campus. Extra nights' B&B accommodation are
available at 20 pounds per night.
