----------------------------Original message----------------------------
Dear colleague,

ARCLIB UK/Ireland (the Architectural School Librarians' Group)
is conducting a survey of user views of the two primary
bibliographic databases in architecture, i.e. Avery Index and APId.
Questionnaire forms are attached to this message, one each for the two
databases. In both cases the form is available both as a Word 6
and as a Wordperfect 5.x for Windows document, so that there are four
files altogether.

We would be very grateful if you would complete the survey form,
using your preferred format, for whichever of the databases you use,
or for each if you use both.

The forms may either be returned by email or, if
you prefer, by surface mail. If anyone cannot or does not wish to
deal with the email attachments, please send a message to
[log in to unmask], giving your name and address, and a print
copy will be sent to you (print copies are being sent to UK ARCLIB
members).

Many thanks for your help. The findings will be presented at the
ARCLIB UK/Ireland conference in July and will be disseminated via this list.
