ANNOUNCEMENT OF SLIDE CURATOR POSITION

Position: Full Time - 35 hrs.per week

Responsibilities: 1.) Computer automation of collection (c.200,000 slides)
                  2.) Continue to develop slide collection.
                  3.) Train and supervise the work of students in the
                      Slide Library.
                  4.) Oversee copy photography by student workers.
                  5.) Supervise four students working on Digital
                      Imagery Project.


Qualifications:   MLS (with appropriate training in visual resourses)
                  and/or M.A.in Art History, preferred; familiarity with
                  slide classification and cataloguing systems; knowledge
                  of computer technology (VRMS and Photoshop). Beginning
                  in August 1997. Salary commensurate with experience,
                  plus the benefits package offered our full-time
                  employees.
