----------------------------Original message----------------------------
We are looking here at some very tentative proposals to integrate the
art section of the city public library into the library of John Moores
University. Has anyone else had experience of such proposals, or is
anyone on the list fulfilling a dual academic/public service role? The
more I think about it, the more problems I can see - the legal and
financial implications alone are a minefield. Can it work to the
advantage of both sides? Is it a GOOD IDEA?
