Please join us for a visit to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and an
optional tour of the Anderson Galleries at Virginia Commonwealth
University.

Program

11:00 Suzanne Freeman, Fine Arts Librarian, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts,
will talk about outreach programs and the transformation of the library
into a vital information center for the Richmond community.

Lunch In the Cary Street area.
 1:00 Tour of the Art Deco collection

Also at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, "Masterpieces in Little:
Portrait Miniatures from the collection of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth."

Optional visit to Anderson Galleries at Virginia Commonwealth University.
The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is located in a rich historical area,
with lots of interesting galleries and shops as well.

Directions to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, 2800 Grove Avenue (804
367-0827)

From interstate 95 or 64, take exit 78, Boulevard Ave. Follow Boulevard
(rte. 161 S.) for 1 1/2 miles through 9 stop lights. The Museum is on the
right on the corner of Boulevard and Grove Avenues. Turn right on Grove,
and right into the parking lot.

From Powhite Parkway and 195 Expressway, take the Floyd-Cary exit. Follow
Cary Street east to Belmont (5 blocks). Turn left on Belmont, and go three
blocks to Grove Avenue. Turn right on Grove and go 1 1/2 blocks to the
parking lot entrance on you left.
