----------------------------Original message---------------------------- TO: ARLIS/NA Public Library Division members and friends FROM: Suzy Frechette, Moderator All Division members are invited to the annual Business Meeting during the San Antonio Conference, which will be held on Sunday, April 6 at 9:45 am. Our agenda is: - Nominations/volunteers for Division Moderator for the next year. - Nominations/volunteers for Division UPDATE Column Editor for the next year. - Program proposals for the 1998 conference. - Discussion of sections of the new Strategic Plan that pertain to our Division. The Division is pleased to be a co-sponsor of session 12 , "Four Directions: Viewing the Ethnic Decorative Arts of the Southwest", which will be held Tuesday, April 8 at 9:45 am. Division member Paula Baxter is one of the speakers. Everyone is encouraged to attend! We are trying something new this year -- The Public Library Division Discussion Group. This will be an informal session where topics that were not completely aired in the Business Meeting, and any other shared interests, can be discussed. This is a trial meeting; if it is successful it could become a regular event at conferences. Let's make the effort this time and see what happens. It will be held on Monday, April 7 at 11:30 am.
