----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Hello ARLIS members - Thank you, Diana Cooper, for reminding to thank everyone who replied to my question about a medieval representation of world view/Christian hierarchy requested by a patron. After a lot of looking, the patron (who seems to have been to every art library in Philadelphia) was satisfied with a "Last Judgement" by Rogier van der Weyden. Diana's suggestion of the Robert Hughes book, "Heaven and Hell in Western Art," even has a section on "The Heavenly Hierarchy" p. 142 and looks good, too. Thanks, everyone. Sara J.
