The Frick Art Reference Library is proud to announce that telnet access
to FRESCO (Frick Research Catalog Online) is now available. The telnet
address is:
fresco.frick.org (or 207.32.241.11)
FRESCO provides access to 61,000 records for books, exhibition catalogs,
journals, microforms, and CD-ROMS cataloged since 1986, and includes
in-process and on-order records as well. Retrospective conversion of
the photoarchive's artist files and the remaining 160,000 pre-1986
bibliographic records is underway.
The Frick Art Reference Library (of The Frick Collection) is a
comprehensive library and photoarchive for the study of European and
American art from the 4th to the mid-20th century.
