Hello; I have a grant to scan all of our (uncataloged) slides into a database a
nd share the information on the world wide web. I have two questions I hope som
eone can help me with:

      1) I am alibrarian but I have never cataloged slides. Is there a method
               to follow or a book I should read about it?
      2) I need to purchase software to organize the slides in..and share them.
                which software us good for this purpose>
