REMINDER: ARLIS/NJ CHAPTER MEETING
               Friday, January 3, 1997

Our Winter Meeting will take place at the Montclair Art Museum on
Friday, January 3, 1997 at 10 a.m.   Edith Anderson Rights will be
our host, and will introduce us to the library and the museum. We
will tour the exhibition, "Passionate Pursuits: Hidden Treasures of
the Garden State." This is a show of 140 works from 60 different
collections from New Jersey art collectors. Its area of coverage is
restricted to American and Native American Art.

The Montclair Art Museum is located at 3 South Mountain Avenue in
Montclair, New Jersey. The telephone number is 201-746-555.

Directions are as follows:
New Jersey Turnpike North or South to exit 15W to 280 West to Exit
8B,Prospect Avenue/Cedar Grove. Proceed through 4 lights. At 5th
light, turn right onto Bloomfield Avenue. At 3rd light, turn right
onto South Mountain Avenue. Turn into the 2nd driveway on the left.

Garden State Parkway North or South to Exit 148, Bloomfield Avenue.
Turn right on Bloomfield Avenue and proceed for 2.7 miles. At Regency
Motors, stay left and turn left at the 2nd light onto South Mountain
Avenue. Turn into the 2nd driveway on the left.
