----------------------------Original message---------------------------- A patron was reading the _Collected Writings of Robert Motherwell_ and came across a reference that she would like to pursue. On page 252, Motherwell talks about a book he read that was called something like "From Constable and Turner through the Impressionists to Bonnard" the author of which was a member of the Royal Academy. Our copy of RM is out so I was unable to check there for more information, bibliographies, footnotes, etc. I've also checked our catalog for Constable, Turner, Impressionism, and Bonnard, but didn't come up with anything close in terms of title or content. If you have any ideas about the book to which Motherwell is referring, please contact me directly. Thanks in advance.
