----------------------------Original message---------------------------- An art history faculty member is trying to contact this Japanese publisher, Toto Bunka, for permission to reproduce some material from one of their publications. The book was published some years ago, and the publisher may not even exist as such--I don't know if Japan has undergone the rampant buyouts and mergers that US publishers seem to have done.
