Dear Colleagues:
I anticipate that The New York School of Interior Design Library
will migrate from its present Mac-based catalog to an IBM based system
within the next few years. The school is establishing a graduate program
(to be in place Fall '97.) The collection is a small one and will probably
not exceed 10,000 volumes.I would be very interested in knowing your
recommendations for IBM-based systems intended for small collections. I
have already received literature on Dynix Express, a Unix based sytem, and
Horizon. Any thoughts you have on these or other systems would be
appreciated.
I am also interested in knowing any recommendations for digital
imaging/CD-Rom products dealing with architecture or the decorative arts.
