----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Hello colleagues - I am preparing for a session next Wednesday with sophomore industrial design students in a course called "Materials & Processes." Their assignment is to do research on a particular material: its properties, applications, maybe a little history, etc. While I feel well-prepared in choosing the appropriate Knight-Ridder/Dialog database, I'd like other people's input on printed sources. We're a small library with not a whole heck of a lot on materials science. While we do have sources as the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology (7th ed.) and Eshbach's Handbook of Engineering Fundamentals, I haven't found a source where I can find a definition of stereolithography. I'd be happy to look at web sites, too. In fact, I found a great one on rapid prototyping at the University of Vermont: http://cadserv.cadlab.vt.edu/bohn/RP.html Thanks in advance - Sara J.
