ARLIS-NJ chapter sadly reports the death of Susan G. Swartzburg, nationally and
internationally known book preservation expert. As our past president and
current newsletter editor, Susan will be greatly missed by all of us.

Friends and family will hold a memorial service in her honor at Kirkpatrick
Chapel located on the campus of Rutgers University on Thursday, Oct. 17th, 1:30
pm. All wishing to say a few words will be allowed to do so. There will be a
reception in the Case Room, Special Collections and University Archives, in the
Alexander Library, immediately afterward. Anyone desiring to, may make a
contribution in Susan's memory to the Special Collections Gift Fund.
