I heard that OCLC is considering changing MARC tags and going to
to a hypertext model using SGML.
I'm not a cataloguer and I'm not a computer whiz.
Can anyone explain this to me in plain language so I can
understand the implications for Visual Resources Curators who are
confronting the suggestion they should map to MARC or use MARC
cataloguing?
