Saatchi is the Turkish word for "watchmaker." I believe the Saatchi
family emigrated to England from Baghdad when the latter was still
an Ottoman provincial capital (hence the Turkish family name). In
the original Turkish, the pronunciation would be sah-aht-chee, or
saht-chee.
However, the English have a way of transmuting foreign words, incl.
names, so this as far as the correct London pronunciation of Saatchi
this is only a guess.
