Just out of curiosity how many libraries have been talked into putting QuarkX
and PhotoShop onto their library computers? Is this really a computer lab or
if for library use, why do you have these sophisticated desktop publishing
and imaging editing programs? In answer to your question I think PhotoShop's
built in tutorial is not bad at all. And sitting down and reading their user
guide is a real education in digital imaging. Quark will sell you a tutorial
program which is not bad either.

>Can anyone help? We've recently bought two Apple
Mac Computers for the Art and Design Students to use
in the Library. We are currently running Adobe
Photoshop and Quark Express on them and have plans to
extend the range. Does anyone know if there is any
self-teaching software available that teaches students
how to use these packages? What do other people do
with their students? I'd be very grateful for any
information that people could offer.

Thanks in advance.
