Noble, maritime artist. Consulting Supervising Librarian and Consulting Librarian Cataloger. Primary focus will be the selection and installation of an online bibliographic system for the Collection. Responsible for implementing the system to be used for searching, cataloging and reference. Online access to RLIN or OCLC for source records to be arranged. Searching and inputting of bibliographic records into a local online system. Cataloging and classification systems to be established. Assist the Executive Director in budget preparation, grant and report writing and special projects. Requirements: Accredited Master of Library Science degree. Professional cataloging experience using RLIN or OCLC systems. Must know classification systems and subject cataloging for the arts and maritime history. Good knowledge of online bibliographic systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. These are temporary positions which could possibly become permanent. > > >
