----------------------------Original message---------------------------- I've also used ProCite extensively and found it to be an excellent database. I believe they also offer a module called "Slide Manager" for people who need to organize a collection of slides. The software allows you to create your own subject keywords, author/title access and permits the entry of small descriptive abstracts that are also keyword searchable. Very easy to learn without a manual or tutor, altho the scientists I worked with enjoyed attending my training workshops to get started. (glad they did...kept my job intact!) We too are organizing a collection of artist books starting in September. I never thought of using ProCite (used to use it for scientific stuff..). Thanks for the great idea!
