Notice is given of a vacancy to be filled in the National Gallery of Art Library. The library is seeking a skilled cataloger to provide full descriptive and subject access to printed materials in the John Rewald Collection, which consists of approximately 5000 titles on Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, and related topics. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have at least 1 year of profes- sional librarian experience directly related to this position which is equivalent in responsibility to the GS-9 level in the Federal service. Candidates must also possess a knowledge of online cataloging systems such as RLIN and a reading knowledge of French and one other Western European language to be qualified. An ALA- accredited MLS is required; an academic background in art history is desired. SALARY: $37,094 per annum.
