We are trying to determine how to organize and catalog miscellaneous
artworks which have come into our collection over the years. these are
not part of larger manuscript collections but individual pieces such as a
papyrus, drawings for bookplates, original prints, a few palm leaf books,
etc. There are probably several hundred all together. Have other
institutions--particularly research libraries--cataloged them
individually in OCLC, done collection level cataloging, or used another
system to keep track of them?

Comments appreciated.
