Just a quick note to tell you all that 31 people attended the VRD business
meeting in Miami, Florida. Martha Mahard was acclaimed as Vice Moderator/
Moderator Elect and Update Column editor for 1996-97. Contact Martha if
you wish to have something in Update. The next scheduled column will
appear in the fall and the deadline is October 10 I think. Martha's email

Adina Lerner did a fantastic job as VRD Moderator in 1995-96 and VRD was
represented every day and every way on the program! Adina will continue as
VRD Editor for the ARLIS (and VRA) homepages so send her anything you
think should properly be on the homepage, but please send a copy to me too
so I (a graphically challenged Slide Librarian) can keep track for our
official Division reports.
We are now in a flurry of proposal preparation for the San Antonio
conference. Please send me copies of any proposals you make and please
contact me about time/space needed at the 1997 annual conference for
committee meetings and discussion groups like VRMS. The deadline is May
31. Alan Townsend has posted a proposal form on ARLIS-L. It is also
available on the web.
