The branch librarian provides reference services in all areas of art, architecture, interior design and related arts. Manages all aspects of library services, collection development, budgeting, personnel, facilities and equipment. Oversees some aspects of technical processing and preservation of library materials. Supervise two f/t support staff, a p/t librarian, and student aides. Some evenings and weekends. Qualifications: MLS from ALA accredited library program; three to five years of progressively responsible experience in academic library; committment to public services and ability to work in an electronic and changing environment. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Candidates with background or degree in art history or architecture will be given preference. Knowledge/experience with DRA automated systems a plus.
