----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Aplogies for duplication in cross-posting. By way of explanation, so far.... Ian Lang, Lecturer in Film and Multimedia, Queensland College of Art, is involved in the selection of 70 Asian artists, the Asia Pacific Trienniale of Contemporary Art, to be held here at the Queensland Art Gallery in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, in 1996. The selection is now complete. He wishes to sincerely thank those who responded to my requests on the art librarian's lists. He has another request, for academics who may be able to contribute to a research project based on the Asia Pacific Triennial. I hope you can pass this information on to your faculty staff who may be specialising in this field. In Ian's own words:- "Am now looking for leading critical thinkers to shed light; on broader issues of changing cultural gravity from west to east, cultural ramifications of Asian economic growth triangles (esp: 'Beseto Ecumenpolis'), and latest radical theories of intercultural identity re Asia Pacific." Many thanks, Jennifer QCA ****************************************************************************** Jennifer Brasher EMAIL: [log in to unmask] Art Librarian VOICE: +61 (07) 3875 3132 FAX: +61 (07) 3875 3133 SNAIL MAIL Queensland College of Art Library Griffith University Clearview Terrace Morningside Campus PO Box 84 Morningside Brisbane Queensland 4170 Australia ****************************************************************************** "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world.
