BUSINESS MEETING OF THE ARCHITECTURE SECTION
SUNDAY, APRIL 28, 1996, 9:30 a.m.
1. Introduction of Steering Committee Members
2. Thanks to our volunteer Recorder
3. Election of Vice-Moderator for 1996/97 (nominees are welcome)
4. Appointment of UPDATE Editor
5. Annual Report
Survey of Academic Architecture Librarians
-- Jeanne Brown and Judy Connorton
6. Consideration of Program Proposals for San Antonio (These are due
at Headquarters on May 31, 1996)
Some possibilities:
- A presentation on COPAR with an eye to how a local
ARLIS chapter could be involved in updating
its area's records
- Further standardization of statistics gathering by
academic architectecture libraries. Establishment
of a Central Clearinghouse for Self-Study Reports?
- perhaps an ASK ARLIS session?
- Presentation on architecture of the Southwestern US
and Mexico
THE FLOOR WILL BE OPEN FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF OTHER
PROPOSALS
7. Discussion of the Architecture Sections's input into the Three
Year Strategic Plan
8. Status of the Electronic Clearinghouse for Architectural
Resources
