----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Dear ARLIS/NA Colleagues, A complete working draft of the updated Strategic Plan is now available for review. The Mission / Goals / Objectives structure of the current Plan has been retained, with a few modifications. The updated plan consists of approximately 180 new or revised action items which will be assigned for execution to specific working group(s). The updated Plan is available now on ARLIS/NA's Homepage: http://web.syr.edu/~dcstam/ in the "administrative matters" section. The forthcoming issue of _Update_ --due out the first week in April-- will include the working draft in hard copy as a ten page insert. Please feel free to review, comment, question, and suggest revisions between now and the Miami conference. The updated Strategic Plan will be discussed in various sessions at the conference, and will be approved, as amended, by the Executive Board at the post-conference meeting. Please be aware that the Plan, once approved, will remain flexible and changeable: there is, in fact, an action item to devise procedures for annually updating and revising ARLIS/NA's Strategic Plan(!)
