In my view from the halcyon days of 16mm film librarian or even video yesteryears, av librarians need to move on into systems, networking, authoring in order to translate their skills. The good part is that we are visually literate, so there, so it is the question of staying or becoming technically literate, a necessary component as well. w Am interested in what others think on the subject. Remember, visual/ artistic points of view should not be underplayed in within the m/m arena.
