ARLIS Colleagues:
Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution, located in New
York City, is a museum exclusively devoted to historical and contemporary
design. Through its programs and exhibitions, the Museum explores the
creative process and how design influences and changes our daily lives.

Our quarterly "Magazine" provides detailed descriptions of our exhibitions,
objects in the collections, museum news and public programs, including
workshops, tours, symposiums, and lectures organized by Cooper-Hewitt,
National Design Museum. We would be interested in trading our quarterly
"Magazine" for your institution's bulletins/newsletters/magazines or,
if you do not produce publications, adding your library to our mailing
list. If you are interested, contact Stephen Van Dyk, Librarian, Cooper-
Hewitt, National Design Museum at [log in to unmask] or by FAX (212)
860-6339. Please include your institution's complete mailing address
and the publications that you can offer on exchange.
