The Rakow Research Library at The Corning Museum of Glass invites you to attend this free, virtual event that explores how glass artist Alli Hoag enriches her creative practice with archival research. Hoag makes use of the Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka Collection<https://cmog.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/collectionDiscovery?vid=01CORNING_INST:01CORNING_INST&collectionId=8156344020004126>, which includes drawings and business records of two 19th-century Bohemian lampworkers whose incredible glass models of botanicals and marine invertebrates continue to inspire and bemuse contemporary artists.
