Dear Colleagues,
The ARLIS/NA Editorial Board invites applications for the position of ARLIS-L Moderator. The term of appointment is one year and is renewable. This position receives an annual honorarium.

Major Responsibilities of the ARLIS-L Moderator:
Approve and post submissions provided by Division, Section, Special Interest Group, Committee, and Chapter contributors.
Moderate messages from subscribers following ARLIS/NA policies.
Communicate with individuals submitting messages for ARLIS-L distribution, including troubleshooting problems, assisting with subscribing/unsubscribing, explaining why messages won't be posted in cases of policy violation, etc.
Facilitate posting of position/internship announcements to ARLIS-L according to stated policies.
Perform necessary listserv subscriber maintenance.
Work closely with ARLIS/NA Executive Director concerning server and software issues.
Provide statistics on listserv subscribers and usage for midyear and annual reports.
Attend quarterly ARLIS/NA Editorial Board meetings.
Serve on the temporary, forthcoming Peer to Peer Communication task force, which will evaluate the tools we use for members to communicate with each other.
