Hello ARLIS/NA, The New England Chapter is happy to announce that Anna Boutin-Cooper is the recipient of this year's travel award. Anna is the Research and Instruction Librarian at Westfield State University in western MA, where she also curates and manages the zine collection. She currently serves as the coordinator of the newly formed Neurodiversity & Invisible Disabilities (ND&ID) SIG and as the Web Support & PR Officer for the ARLIS/NA New England Chapter. In addition to her work as a librarian, she is also a practicing fiber artist who uses various fiber arts, creative nonfiction writing, and photography in her artistic practice. Anna is excited for this year's ARLIS/NA conference, where she will be presenting on a panel titled "Please Don't POP! Near Me: Neurodiversity and Library Work." She is thrilled to be a part of beginning the critical conversation around neurodiversity and invisible disabilities as experienced by library workers and librarians. Additionally, she will be presenting a lightning talk about her artistic practice at the panel "Play/Work: Pop-Up Artist Talks with SCIP SIG." Please join the ARLIS/NA New England Chapter board in congratulating Anna on her award.
